April — A month for turning thought into form

April is when the blossom comes and results start becoming visible. This period makes someone with Indirect Resource a little anxious. You have been learning and thinking since winter and there is nothing in your hands. Everyone else is producing while you alone seem to be still preparing. July — The month that separates time alone from isolation

July, with Daeseo’s heat running on, is when you least want to go out. This period is both comfortable and dangerous for Indirect Resource. Time alone recharges you by nature, so a few days spent in the room feel wonderful. But let that run long and at some point it stops being charging and becomes isolation. Meeting people grows burdensome, and being burdensome you meet them even less. That boundary is hard to notice yourself. So set one rule this month: see somebody once a week. It needn’t be a great occasion. That one meeting protects the summer’s rhythm and makes the autumn return easy.

August — The late summer for competing on depth

Past Ipchu and into Cheoseo, the air settles and concentration returns. Late August’s Indirect Resource is a good period for burrowing deep into one thing. Where spring swept broadly across several branches, now pick one and go to the bottom. Indirect Resource strength is in depth, not speed. What others know roughly you come to understand structurally, and that difference gets called expertise. One thing dug deep in this period becomes the grounds that describe you for years. Only, don’t cut off the connection to the world entirely while you dig. Let people around you know what you’re working on and, in autumn, someone hearing about it will come looking. People gather where you dug deep.

September — The month a distinctive reading turns into a result

When Chubun sets day and night level, what has accumulated gets priced. September’s Indirect Resource is when insight connects to an actual result. Looking at the same material, you alone reach a different conclusion, and situations arise where that reading is the key that solves the problem. It is the reward that comes to whoever dug long. November — The month thinking multiplies and the sleep gets shallow

December — A month for sorting the accumulated insight into next year’s weapon

Dongji’s longest night is the time that suits Indirect Resource best. In December, sort what you have accumulated this year. Gather what you read, what you learned, the thoughts that surfaced, in one place, and check what remains. Someone with Indirect Resource doesn’t register how much they have come to know, so this work is particularly necessary. Sorting, you will find that what you couldn’t understand at the year’s start you now take for granted. That is the evidence of growth.
