Write your own partner report: the day Branch’s Ten God (what you expect), its combinations and clashes (stability), and candidate years of connection (years the partner star arrives). If married there is the fun of comparing against your actual partner; if not, you get a note of the years of connection. But all of it is the language of probability — professionals also know how many people meet a connection that isn’t in the chart and live perfectly well.

Here is the actual order for reading marriage timing. ① Find the years the partner star arrives in the luck (traditionally Wealth for men and Officers for women; flexibly, in modern practice). ② Overlay the years a combination — especially a six or three-way — lands on the day Branch. ③ Check the year’s overall weather (whether it favours the Useful God). The year where all three overlap is when the window of connection opens — though the window opening still leaves the walking through to you. Know the remarriage perspective too: never pronounce a first marriage’s failure as “a bad spouse seat,” and the testimony from the consulting room is that a remarriage entered with the seat’s assignment understood (a clash, say, meaning respect for space and time) produces an entirely different outcome from the same seat.

There are techniques that draw an image from the partner star’s element and Twelve Stage (Fire Wealth suggesting a glamorous air), and it isn’t an area to boast accuracy in.
