A story to start
The last lesson is about attitude rather than technique. Having run fifty lessons, you can now read a great deal out of eight characters — and that ability is exactly what starts the final exam: how you say what you have read. There is an old warning in this world: the clumsy reader ruins people. Half-full knowledge is always the most dangerous.
📖 The main point — three precepts
① Don’t pronounce. Not “your chart has divorce in it” but “there is a theme of change in relationships, so it would be worth putting effort into communication.” Same information, different life. ② Don’t frighten. Fear is the easiest sale and the worst reading. Remember why the fathers of the discipline taught that even a rough star rises when it is cut properly. ③ Don’t decide for someone. A chart is a weather forecast — you can hand someone an umbrella, and whether to go on the picnic is theirs to decide. When the forecaster starts banning picnics, it has stopped being a discipline.

The spirit of the classics reduces to one sentence: above the fate you were born with is the luck that flows, and above the luck that flows is the mind that meets it. Two people with the same chart, one living in resentment and one in gratitude, live different lives. Study groups — studying alone falls easily into the swamp of confirmation bias, so make a regular place where your readings get argued with, online or off. Q. Is it fine to study from video lectures? There are good ones, and schools get mixed together confusingly. Finish one teacher’s system first, then compare other schools. I hope this course served as that first system. Q. Are there Myeongri qualifications? There is no state-recognised certification and many private ones exist. This is a world where clinical experience and feedback from teachers and peers prove ability more than a certificate. Q. Finally — does Saju actually work? An honest answer for someone who has finished fifty lessons: used as a tool for guessing, it is often wrong; used as a tool for understanding, it is remarkably useful.
